Getting Started

There are two options for getting started; pick the one that best fits your goals, personal circumstances, and overall commitment level. Due to high demand, please note that Jennifer is unable to accept everyone who expresses interest in working with her – she’s looking for real people who are self-motivated and committed to positive change. You don’t have be “perfectly ready” or have “perfect circumstances” to get started with Jennifer, but you do have to have the mindset that you’re ready to commit to being coached towards becoming your best self. Package Description

Quick Nutrition Tune-Up



This package best fits someone who wants to learn more about their nutritional status and double-check with a nutrition expert they are on the right track, require only minor tweaks to their eating habits, and can successfully implement changes independently. Includes:

  • Initial nutrition assessment (60 minutes)
  • 1 follow-up nutrition counselling session (45 minutes)
  • Computerized diet analysis
  • Supporting nutrition resources

Best Suited For:

  • Athletes
  • Vegans / vegetarians
  • Food intolerances / allergies
  • Pregnancy
  • Those who are already at (or near) a healthy weight but want to ensure all of their nutrition needs are being met from their current diet

Nutrition Transformation Package



This package is best suited for someone who is ready to improve their health and recognizes that success takes time, involves major changes to lifestyle and dietary habits, and who benefits from the support and accountability of a mentor to reach your goals. Includes:

  • Initial nutrition assessment (60 minutes)
  • 4 follow-up nutrition counselling sessions (45-minutes)
  • Body composition test in a BOD POD
  • Computerized diet analysis
  • Meal planning support
  • Getting Started Nutrition Success Book featuring:
    • Daily meal plan template to follow
    • Healthy mix-and-match snack ideas
    • Grocery list
    • Batch cooking recipes
    • Goal setting sheet and accountability tracker
    • Individualized nutrition resources as needed

Package Description

Extra Nutrition Follow-Up Sessions

Computerized Diet Analysis



  • Detailed analysis of current eating patterns (3 days analyzed)
  • Compare your nutritional intake with Recommended Daily Allowances (RDAs) to see if you are getting too much or too little of a particular nutrient
  • Feedback provided to suggest specific foods and/or supplements to help supply missing nutrients to your body
  • Analysis includes review of (intake vs. requirements):
    • Calories
    • Macronutrients: carbohydrates, protein, fat
    • Vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, C, D, K, folate
    • Minerals: calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, sodium, zinc
    • Water, caffeine, omega-3’s, alcohol, sugar, cholesterol, fibre

Body Composition Testing



  • Accurately measure your body fat percentage and lean muscle mass in a BOD POD
  • Better assessment of body fat loss and lean muscle gain vs. using a scale
  • Results are printed and provided on the spot
  • The test is safe, non-invasive, fast, and highly accurate

Personal Training

Our personal training packages are designed to create change in a way that works with your goals, budget, and timeline. Partnered with CrossFit London, we have a professional and caring team of coaches who are experienced working with all levels of athletes… even those that laughed when they read the word “athlete”. Each personal training program is individualized to match your abilities, restore and balance any previous injuries, and challenge you to improve your current fitness level, while offering accountability, phone and email support, additional supplementary workouts, and even includes a free workout journal to track your progress.

  • 3 personal training sessions/week x 6 months ($663/month)
  • 2 personal training sessions/week x 6 months ($442/month)

Insurance / Benefits

Jennifer Broxterman is a Registered Dietitian, licensed under the College of Dietitians of Ontario. Nutrition services are not covered by provincial health plans at this time. However, dietitian/nutritionist services may be partially covered by your extended health insurance plan. The coverage for each insurance company is different; please check your plan to see what coverage is available for this type of service (i.e. dietitian coverage per session or per year). We do not direct bill to insurance companies but will provide you with a detailed receipt you can submit that includes the dietitian’s license number, description of service, date of counselling session, and the consulting fee breakdown per visit.

Individual insurance receipts can be provided at each session to break down the nutrition package cost appointment-by-appointment for reimbursement purposes with your insurance provider. Please email in advance of your initial assessment to arrange for your insurance receipt to be ready.

If your plan does not cover the services of a Registered Dietitian, save your receipt. In the province of Ontario, Registered Dietitians are classified as an “Authorized Medical Practitioner” as shown here. Based on your income level, you may qualify for a non-refundable tax credit from the government when you file your taxes.
